Room-by-room tour of The Airlie Beach

We’ve taken some of our favourite design features to showcase a fresh, light-filled home perfect for a coastal location.

You’ll find raking ceilings, weatherboards, big, indoor/outdoor living spaces and options for study, work and home entertainment in this delightful four-bedroom residence.

Living and entertaining areas are generous and flexible, and all the bedrooms are double-sized, ideal for growing kids or visitors.

Let’s check out the Airlie Beach room by room, starting with that all-important street appeal.

Coastal elevation

Our choice of seaside blue says it all. Teamed with weatherboards, stacked stone, crisp white and a dramatic raking roofline, this home is a coastal showstopper. Designed for a 16m-wide block, it boasts vast windows and a good-sized porch leading into a wide and welcoming entry hallway.

Five-star suite

Looking for an oversized master suite? Here it is! Complete with raking ceilings and a private lounge area, the main sleeping quarters are large and luxurious, with a dressing room and deluxe ensuite bathroom. Relax in the freestanding bath and enjoy all the space you need with twin vanities and a large shower. For the ultimate finishing touch to this five-star master suite, we’ve added a sliding door to a secluded verandah so you can take your morning cuppa outside in private.

Movie night

Dim the lights, it’s movie night in your dedicated home theatre with its coffered ceiling for that extra cinema-style ambience. Drinks and snacks are never far away in the kitchen. Or make use of the recess to build in your own custom-designed bar area.

Storage in the kitchen

We know you need plenty of storage space in the kitchen, so we’ve included both a walk-in pantry and a scullery. The island bench with its breakfast bar is the perfect gathering point for after-school chats or drinks with friends before dinner. And how about that servery window leading out to the alfresco? It’s a popular feature and so practical. We think you’ll love our choice of blue, timber and white; it’s a gentle reminder that you’re by the beach and it’s time to relax.

Living large outdoors

Instant impact comes in the form of high raking ceilings, while glass sliding doors seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors. The overall result is a big, light-filled space that’s easy to live in, whether it’s just you and the family, or you’ve invited your friends and neighbours over too.

Living large indoors

Can’t find a design with a big enough outdoor living space? With dedicated areas for barbecuing, dining and lounging, this alfresco area is super-sized. And did we mention the servery window giving you direct access from the kitchen to the barbecue chef?

Quiet time

Working from home or studying usually demands a little peace and quiet, so we’ve included a dedicated study area, tucked away from the busy-ness of the main living area. This flexible space is also great as a studio or hobby space.

Wine tasting

You’ll never be short of your favourite shiraz or chardonnay when you have your own wine cellar. The viewing window through to the dining room is a great talking point too.

Music and more

A room to make your own. Yoga space? Library? Sewing station? Painting studio? The options are limitless.
