Kandice and James had very clear ideas about their new home, which they built on 2.5 acres in Baskerville.
After studying a number of different WA Country Builders home designs, the couple decided to blend two of their favourite floorplans to create their dream home.
“We threw a little curveball by blending a couple of floorplans together, but we didn’t get pushback,” Kandice recalls. “WA Country Builders have brilliant designers that guide you.”
The end result is a superb family home that’s positioned on the block to take in the view of the neighbour’s horses, rather than the road. With raking ceilings and an abundance of windows, Kandice and James’ home is light-filled and welcoming, and exactly what they wanted.
“I went in with a very clear idea of what I wanted and they guided me,” Kandice says. “My advice is to find a builder who’s going to work with you and guide you in the right direction.”
