WA Country Builders in association with Deepdale Estate are proud to introduce The Durack as the 2014 Regional Telethon Home.

The Durack has experienced a great deal of commercial and industry success in the past two decades, all of which can be attributed to its simple lines and functionality, making it a timeless home design for people desiring a true Australian homestead.

The Durack’s design was based on feedback from people wanting a spacious home for larger rural lots. The home is cleverly split into two living zones: the children’s and the adults. Both very separate, but tied together by the large free-form living space in the middle of the home. The core of the Durack’s design is the main free form living area, divided by a large double-sided fire with a brushed stainless steel flue. The kitchen features a farmhouse-sized walk in pantry and first class appliances and appointments.

The children’s wing has bedrooms large enough for queen sized beds or can be used as another TV viewing space. All bedrooms are located around the bathroom and laundry and the adult wing is self-contained and very private. Glazed double doors to the home theatre lead onto private double doors to a generously sized master suite.

For the Telethon edition of the Durack home we modified a few component parts to create an extra feeling of space and versatility for home owners: with the addition of a generous alfresco area leading form the dining space; and a two car garage instead of carport.
